The Coffin Dodgers had their annual Christmas shoot again yesterday. No one had great scores, but the medals were handed out as many are related to long term overall performance.
The Dodgers are a friendly group who get together every Wednesday morning at Hereford and Worcester Shooting Ground and try ro hit a few clays. Called the Coffin Dodgers because of their ahem, tender years, they have attracted younger blood over past year or so as well as lady members, so they aren't just a crotchety bunch of ode gits after all.
After the shoot, it was back to the very comfortable clubhouse for a nice lttle feast brought along by the members and some pork pie provided by the club and then it was down to the rpesentation of medals.
I'll be cobbling up a slideshow of the day in the next day or so and will post it here. Before I left, managed to get Trev to pose with Roger the club mascot and a well chosen hat.
Trev and I between us put out the scores, maintain the website, Twitter account and the likes, a sort of PR team.
A good bunch of people all of them.
That sounds like fun!
