Open for business

 
This is the newest and largest trap to form on the Venus flytrap and because we've had some good sunshine of late, you can see the pink is just developing inside.  Trap isn't quite open yet, but two days ago, the thing wasn't even fully formed. 

It's a good sign, as the rest of the plant is a bit pasty yet saying that, one of the traps I would have considered too small to catch anything, has something in it.  All calories for those winter months ahead.
