It's busy work this feeding the welder.
Tuesday I made wun tun. Little parcels of minced pork, spring onion, ginger and other nice things in a pastry parcel which is later deep fried.
Then yeterday I made a load of ribs cos the welder had expressly said he likes ribs, so Bob the Butcher murdered extra pigs last week and I came home with a carrier bag full.
They went down well as you can see (we managed to get a few for ourselves when his attention was distracted by the wun tun and the lovely Yuk sung that Darlo made and brought along with her.
As for the ribs, all I had left this morning was a buncha bones.
And a load of clearing up to do...
Darlo made comment on my newly decorated hallway. It's taken more than two weeks and nearly killed me with all the stretching taking its toll on my neck and spine. She likes my coffee coloured door contrasting with donkey.
Long periods of standing play havoc too, so by the time they arrived last night, I'd knocked back more than a day's recommended dose of paracetamol which helped me through and has helped this morning too judging by the energy I had to getting the plqace tidy again.
They all seemed to enjoy it and were suitably oinking afterwards, table was creaking with special rice, Singapore noodles, steak strips in oyster and ginger and a lemon chicken dish and then we finished off with fortune cookies.
I know after all that, I couldn't do this for a living.
