I'm pushing to lose some more weight, so despite not being on top form, I have been hitting the arboretum. Sunday and this morning brought a surprise or two, as when I began it was dark and overcast, then the sun burst through and provides perfect light for taking pictures.
Photographers call early morning light the magic hour and looking at some of these captured with a phone, I think you'll be able to see why.
In a couple of weeks when the temperatures drop, the colours should become more intense. All I need are some sunny mornings.
