This morning was the first time I've woken up in at least the past three weeks and actually wanted to get out of bed. I was up at 6 and had a 9 am weigh in appointment with Wendy.
I'd not stepped on the scales in 2 weeks, I've not been out walking as much, a combination of not feeling well and being here to paint the hall which knocks me about as much as the walks. Also I had beer twice last week, only a few cans, but it's 200 calories a tin !
So when I got on the scales (in just my socks) I was delighted to see I had lost just a little weighing in at 125.6. Then I went for a crap and a pee and out of curiosity got on them again only to find I was now 124.8.
Wendy's scales are calibrated on a regular basis and imagine my delight to see me weigh in fully clothed at 124.6 (6 pounds less than my last visit 4 weeks ago - she works in pounds not kilos).
I don't think it was the three miles I walked prior to seeing her which made the difference, just a variance in the two seets of scales.
I'm delighted because it's been a very hard year trying to lose this weight. And the sun was shining and I got this nice pic in the arboretum (see above).
Spine's aching a bit now though, the only fly in the oinkment.

Congratulations! Slow and steady wins the race and all that...
