Not long after I got home from my walk, I was making a cappuccino, lamenting the fact it was the last of the coffee tilI can get some more tomorrow and there was someone at the building entry with a parcel for me.
Wasn't expecting anything, so was really surprised when this nice big book arrived.
I remember earlier in the year granting permission for a university in California (I think it was), to use one of my carnie pictures in an upcoming book. They said they'd send me one and I was only thinking the other day, after all these months that they's forgotten.
Didn't get paid for it, but I'm not paid for all the hard work I do with Kils n Kins and I didn't have to do anything for the book.
Very surprised when it arrived, you wouldn't want to drop it on your foot, a real heavyweight tome it is, not lightweight coffee table reading.
And there it is on page six hundred and something, one of my little carnies.
As you know, I love my babbies as much as I love my Daleks, in fact they get more pampering. I was out there this morning giving them some more rainwater to sit in whilst they bask in the sunshine and I just moved one tray over to one end of the balcony to get the sun as it comes round this side of the building.
So there we have it, one of my carnies is famous !
