It was quite warm and humid when I went out this morning at 7 o clock. I made the decision not to wear even my sleevless jacket as yeterday I was a bit hot by the time I got home.
First disappointment was the arboretum gates were still shut when I got down there, so that reduced my walk by at least a mile. I walked up through the town and then in to Tesco just for pop and bread. Pop on special a pound a bottle, Yowsa !
Nice bath, couple of cappuccinos, shorts on as it's nice and sunny now. Carnies are lapping it up even though there won't be many inseects about so they won't be feeding much and dormancy is upon us, this warm spell will have come as a bit of a surprise to them and us.
Charlie Chalk sent me a text to say he'd been stung on the arm by a wasp but then his day improved when the choccy vending machine gave him two packets of stuff rather than the overpriced one.
Got to try design a web page for Helen the Horsewoman. Had a bash yesterday, but just wasn't focused. Most people in her line go for burgundy as a main colour, so have to break away from that.
Ten years ago, I remember I started work on a site for a local saddlemaker and went for dark blue, cream and gold. He did a bunk, I never got paid a penny and the site never aired. Could have been worse, I loaned him my digital camera to go to America which fortunately I got back before he did his Glen Miller number.
I think another cappuccino is in order !
